Is There A Spider-Man: Homecoming Trailer Inbound?

Over the past 24 hours the internet has been abuzz with the news that our first look at ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ could be swinging by sooner than we thought.

Although Marvel and/or Sony have yet to officially announce or comment on these rumours, numerous high profile sites and bloggers are reporting that we may get a glimpse of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s reboot of the web-slinging hero, and that a trailer will be attached to ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ when it’s released on December 15th, which is plausible seeing as though both Star Wars and Marvel are part of Disney. This potentially means that the trailer could officially be released online some point before the actual release of ‘Rogue One’.

Since his crowd-pleasing entrance into the MCU during ‘Captain America: Civil War’ earlier this year, the internet is itching to get its first official look at Tom Holland’s solo Spider-Man outing. There have been various set photos posted online that have in-turn sparked a number of rumours about the film’s plot, characters and ties with the MCU. However, I’ve actively tried to avoid these potential spoilers at all costs so I don’t spoil the film for myself.

Marvel being Marvel, we probably shouldn’t expect the first teaser to give too much away. I suspect we’ll probably see a few shots of Peter Parker and his friends, a quick look at Spider-Man in action, a witty joke or two and if we’re lucky, potentially a little tease of either Vulture or Shocker.

Are you excited for more of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man? What would you like to see in the first teaser?

‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is set to release in the UK on July 7th 2017
