Establishing a prime spot at this year’s Super Bowl, ‘Life’ tells the story of a breakthrough discovery made by an international space crew; a benign single celled organism finally cements theories that life exists beyond Planet Earth. Following preliminary research, the crew soon face the desperate consequences of their discovery as they realise this particular lifeform is more intelligent than they had anticipated.
With the writers of ‘Deadpool’ and a stellar cast boasting Rebecca Ferguson, Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds, ‘Life’ promises to be one heck of a sci-fi thriller. The movie has certainly enjoyed teasing fans on social media by tweeting a healthy barrage of GIFs, one tweet earlier this week read:
It has been almost three years since Alfonso Cuarόn’s multi Oscar winning ‘Gravity’ rearranged cinema’s well-ordered cosmos, and of course lest we forget the ground-breaking ‘Interstellar’, ‘The Martian’ and ‘Thunderpants’. Space movies have resonated with audiences for many years and ‘Life’ appears set to add to Hollywood’s already impressive repertoire.
‘Life’ takes to UK and US movie houses on 24th March… it’s already in my diary.
