“‘All the Money in the World’ follows the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother Gail to convince his billionaire grandfather to pay the ransom. When Getty Sr. refuses, Gail attempts to sway him as her son’s captors become increasingly volatile and brutal. With her son’s life in the balance, Gail and Getty’s advisor become unlikely allies in the race against time that ultimately reveals the true and lasting value of love over money.”
Ridley Scott was quick to chuck Kevin Spacey from ‘All the Money in the World’ following the accusations of sexual assault being filed against him. Christopher Plummer was quickly announced as Spacey’s replacement, and re-filming scenes began immediately in London and Rome in order for the release date of the film to remain unchanged.
It’ just 21 days away from release in the U.S, and reportedly some scenes are still being re-shot! Many believed (and still do believe) it was a little ambitious for Scott to still aim for the same release date but, low and behold, here is the first trailer featuring Christopher Plummer as J. Paul Getty and no sign of the release date changing.
