14-year-old Eli (Myles Truitt) lives in Detroit with his father Hal (Dennis Quaid). On the eve of his estranged brother Jimmy’s (Jack Reynor) return from prison, Eli breaks into an abandoned building site, where he stumbles upon the aftermath of an intense shoot out and a mysterious otherworldly weapon hidden amongst the rubble…

Back at home, Jimmy’s arrival causes trouble for the family as he struggles to pay back local gangster Taylor (James Franco), the man who kept him alive inside. After a disastrous attempt to secure money ends in tragedy, Jimmy hits the road with Eli in tow. Chased by a criminal gang bent on revenge, it turns out that Eli’s weapon brings a much more dangerous set of pursuers, who may not be from this world. COMPETITION: Win A Copy Of ‘Day Of The Dead: Bloodline’ On DVD!

Fear goes viral in this terrifying retelling of George A. Romero’s zombie horror classic. Five years after an epidemic nearly wiped out the world’s population, Dr. Zoe Parker lives in an underground bunker among a small group of military personnel and survivalists, working on a cure while fighting armies of the undead. When a dangerous patient from Zoe’s past infiltrates the bunker, Zoe discovers he just might hold the key to saving humanity … or ending it.

Ramping up the action and bloodshed, and with plenty of nods to the 1985 classic, prepare yourselves for the next bloody chapter in one of horror’s most beloved franchises. Day of the Dead: Bloodline is the debut English language feature from acclaimed Spanish director Hèctor Hernández Vicens (The Corpse of Anna Fritz), a long-time fan of George A. Romero’s original ‘Dead’ series. Starring Johnathon Schaech (Legends of Tomorrow), Sophie Skelton (Outlander), Jeff Gum (New Girl) and Mark ‘Rhino’ Smith (UK Gladiators).

Thanks to our friends over at Lionsgate, we have a DVD copy of Day of the Dead: Bloodline to give away to one lucky winner! Just be sure to follow us on Twitter and retweet the below tweet!

Competition: Win A UV Digital Code For ‘Lady Bird’

Thanks to Sasha, we have one UV Digital code to give away for Greta Gerwig’s Lady Bird and it couldn’t be easier to enter!

“The real success here is in the writing – it makes the whole thing feel so real. It is very funny – early scenes of Lady Bird ‘running for office’ in her school and coming into conflict with her teachers are hilarious. The naturalistic performances are also a key part of what makes this film so good.”

You can read our full verdict for Lady Bird, courtesy of Fiona, right here!

In Lady Bird, Greta Gerwig reveals herself to be a bold new cinematic voice with her directorial debut, excavating both the humor and pathos in the turbulent bond between a mother and her teenage daughter. Christine “Lady Bird” McPherson (Saoirse Ronan) fights against but is exactly like her wildly loving, deeply opinionated and strong-willed mom (Laurie Metcalf), a nurse working tirelessly to keep her family afloat after Lady Bird’s father (Tracy Letts) loses his job. Set in Sacramento, California in 2002, amidst a rapidly shifting American economic landscape, Lady Bird is an affecting look at the relationships that shape us, the beliefs that define us, and the unmatched beauty of a place called home.

Based on RC Sherriff’s play and novel of the same name Journey’s End is set in March 1918 as C-Company, led by a war-weary Captain Stanhope (Sam Claflin) arrives in northern France to take its turn in the front-line trenches. Told that a German offensive is imminent Stanhope drowns his fears in whisky whilst the officers (Paul Bettany, Stephen Graham, Tom Sturridge) and their cook (Toby Jones) attempt to distract themselves in their dugout with talk of food and life before war. They are joined by Raleigh (Asa Butterfield), a young new officer fresh out of training excited about his first real posting, and a chance to serve under Stanhope. Raleigh’s naivety serves as a stark contrast to the other men’s impending fear as the tension rises and the attack draws ever closer.

With an all-star British cast featuring Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games franchise), Asa Butterfield (The Space Between Us), Toby Jones (Atomic Blonde) Tom Sturridge (Mary Shelley), Stephen Graham (Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool) and Paul Bettany (Captain America: Civil War).

Directed by Bafta Award® nominee Saul Dibb (The Duchess). Screenplay by Simon Reade (Private Peaceful). Produced by Guy de Beaujeu and Simon Reade. Based on the novel by R.C. Sheriff and Vernon Bartlett and the play by R.C. Sheriff.
